Strong Adhesion Quartz Primer

Description

Quartz sand bonding primer based on acrylic resins with high alkaline strength, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is applied on surfaces, such as concrete, gypsum boards, cement boards and heat insulating polystyrene panels. It creates a rough surface and ideal adhesion conditions for troweling painted surfaces, for plastering of concrete or thermal insulation slabs and for pressed cement screed application.

PREPARATION - APPLICATION

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint.

APPLICATION

A good stirring of the product is required prior to use to give a homogeneous mixture. Apply with roller, or brush a layer of Superbond Primer without dilution, in such a manner as to maintain its "embossed" texture. If needed dilute up to 5%. It is touch dry in 2-3 hours and the plaster or pressed cement screed is applied after 8-10 hours. These times vary depending on film thickness and weather conditions (humidity and temperature).
