Ultra Durable Nano-Acrylic Paint

Description

Ultra-durable mat innovative NANO Acrylic paint for exterior masonry surfaces based on TRIBRID NANO Technology (Silica – Acrylic – Silicone). Delays in application due to extreme weather conditions are avoided and the painting season is extended. It offers superior performance, long lasting durability as well brighter colours which are looking fresher and will not fade, ensuring that the building continues to look beautiful over time. Its unique Dirt Pick Up resistance and anti soiling tendency ﬁ ghts out inorganic, organic and biological pollutants and thereby retains the initial beauty. Due to its strong inorganic character the painted surfaced dries fast after rainfall and provides a high water vapour permeable coating. Suitable for the painting and renovation of masonry and cement substrates, old silicate and silicone coatings, ETICS etc. where the adhesion is excellent when the proper primer is used. Acrylan MAX offers very high added value to the building due to lower renovation cost and longer lifetime as well as very low carbon footprint in its life cycle. Acrylan MAX is a certiﬁ ed from the University of Athens, department of Physics as a cool paint characterized by high solar reﬂ ectance value (SR), high infrared emittance (ε) and high reﬂ ectance index value (SRI).

PREPARATION - APPLICATION

PREPARATION
Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint. To fill any cracks or holes use Acrylic Putty. Surfaces previously covered with water paints or distempers (lime wash or ceiling white) should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco, Durovit or Vitosin, while old silicate and silicone substrates should be primed before with Acrylan MAX diluted 15% with water.
New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, plasterboard, etc. should be first primed with Acrylan Unco Eco or Durovit.For maximum opacity in dark and intense (such as blue, red and yellow) final shades, it is recommended to apply one coat of PreColor Primer colored – depending on the final shade – through Vitex Coloring System.
APPLICATION
Stir well before use. Apply two coats by roller, brush or airless spray gun diluted up to 10% with water.
Apply even when air, surface and material temperature ranges from 5°C to 45°C for 50% RH. Maximum application relative humidity 80%. The use of Acrylan MAX signiﬁ cantly reduces the drying and recoat time. Touch dry is 30-45 minutes and recoat time 1-2 h at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Drying and recoat times are temperature, humidity, wind and ﬁlm thickness dependent. The application of the paint can be completed 30-60 minutes before the appearance of rain or dew depending on the shade (from 5°C and above and relative humidity 50-70%). Cooler temperatures and higher humidity level can increase the rain readiness time.
