Fiber reinforced mortar for insulations boards

Description

Cement based, polymer modified adhesive for insulation boards of XPS or EPS, rockwool etc. on the outer surfaces of buildings. Certified with the CE marking according to EN 998-1. It is part of the External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) VITEXTHERM, which are certified with the CE marking according to the requirements of EAD 040083-00-0404.

PREPARATION-APPLICATION

Check that the substrate is clean of loose material, dust, etc. Using an electric low speed drill, mix well a 25kg bag with approximately 6 liters of clean water until you get a homogenous mass without sticky lumps. Leave the mixture for 5 – 10 minutes to mature and mix again for a while. Apply GNK10G, either on the entire surface of the insulation board with a notched trowel, or around the board and selectively in the center with a trowel, making sure that the adhesive material covers least 40% of insulation board surface. Placement of the insulating boards must start from the bottom of the wall upwards, crosswise and with no gaps. Time of use of the finished mixture is 1 -3 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the season time.
