VITEX METALLICO

SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint. To fill any cracks or holes use Acrylic Putty or Visto. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, plasterboard, etc. should be first primed with 100% Acrylic Primer or Acrylan Unco Eco. For a better highlight of the metallic finish, it is recommended to apply a layer of a Vitex emulsion paint before applying Vitex Metallico. Wood, PVC, aluminium and galvanized steel surfaces should be first coated with either Velatura Eco or Primer for Glossy Surfaces. Metallic surfaces should be coated with an anticorrosive primer (Anti-Rust Primer or Metal Primer). APPLICATION Stir well before use. Apply two coats by roller, brush or airless spray gun. Do not apply at temperatures below 5oC, above 35oC and/or relative humidity above 80%. It is touch-dry after 1-2 hours and can be recoated after 6-8 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). Allow at least 3 weeks before cleaning and washing newly painted surfaces with Vitex Metallico. Wash gently with water using a soft sponge. In case of bad stains, use a mild colourless detergent or soapy water. Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent.
