PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and smooth, free from dust, oils, or any loose materials. For filling holes and smoothing any cracks, Acrylic Putty is used. Old water-based painted surfaces (with lime or glue) are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco or Durovit. New surfaces made of mortar, concrete, bricks, plasterboard, etc., as well as smoothed surfaces, are primed with 100% Acrylic Primer or Acrylan Unco Eco or Blanco Eco. Surfaces stained with nicotine, smoke, markers, coffee, and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco or Vitosin. Wooden surfaces are primed with Water-based Primer. Surfaces made of PVC, aluminum, glass, etc., are primed with Glossy Surface Primer. Metal surfaces are primed with an anti-corrosive undercoat, such as Metal Primer, Anti-Rust Primer, etc.

APPLICATION

The product should be thoroughly mixed before use. It is applied in two coats with a roller, brush, or airless spray gun and can be thinned up to 10% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C, above 35°C, and/or at relative humidity above 80%. The product is touch dry in 1-2 hours and can be recoated after 6-8 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). Surfaces painted with Vitex Metallico can be cleaned using a soft sponge with water, and in case of stubborn stains, with a mild, colorless detergent, at least three weeks after painting. Tools should be cleaned immediately after use with water and, if necessary, with soap or detergent.
